How It Works:
- What is AOE? The Angle of Engagement (AOE) is the point where the sector gear picks up the piston assembly. Proper AOE reduces stress and ensures efficient cycling.

Why Use Real Deal Spacers?
- They adjust the piston’s position to improve engagement with the sector gear.
 - Real Deal pistons have pre-cut teeth to naturally avoid premature engagement, but AOE correction is still advised for most builds.
 
 
Installation Tips:
- 
Start with One Spacer:
- Insert one spacer and inspect the AOE.
 - Ensure the sector gear engages closer to the 12 o’clock position.
 
 - 
Add Additional Spacers if Necessary:
- If the sector gear engages at the 1-2 o’clock position or shows signs of PME, add another spacer.
 
 - 
Check for Clearance:
- Verify that the piston teeth clear the sector gear and there’s no risk of PME.
 
 
Compatibility:
- Suitable for most AEG builds requiring AOE correction.
 - Not required for Real Deal Piston Assemblies, which are pre-fitted with AOE washers and drop-in ready.
