The PolarStar Hop Up “Thing” is a premium TDC hop-up chamber manufactured in the USA from 6061-T6 aluminum. Machined in-house to tolerances of ±0.002 inch, this chamber provides a precise alternative to conventional cast hop-up units.

At its core is PolarStar’s TDC (Top Dead Center) slider system. The adjustment arm applies direct vertical pressure to the hop-up nub, helping create even contact with the bucking for a more consistent BB trajectory. Its modular construction also allows fitment to be tuned for compatible AEG and HPA configurations.
